For healthcare professionals in environments that are moving to electronic health records, preparation for and successful completion of the Healthcare IT Technician certificate will help ensure basic knowledge of computer and network installation and security considerations in the transition to an electronic health record environment.

Once you place your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from CompTIA. This e-mail includes your exam voucher number -- you need this number to register for your exam. It is important that you provide a valid e-mail address and that your system does not block messages from CompTIA.

Vouchers are only available for purchase and use at a Pearson VUE test center in North America. Vouchers expire ten to twelve months from date of purchase. The specific expiration date will be sent with the voucher number via email. All sales of exam vouchers are final, no exceptions.

I just took the HIT exam with a failing score of 648. This was my primary preparation tool, and I feel that the book was really lacking in material that was later on the test.

The courseware bundle comes with a book, courseware, and voucher.  The book is very good because it is very clear and concise.  

The only issue I had was with shipping. I opted for 2nd Day air but didn't receive it for almost 5 days.

After going through the course contents,I found the book very useful.I studied maritime radio communication and most of the subjects relate to it.Diverting to the health sector will be a whole new experience.
