Sales professions earning IT for Sales certificate demonstrate that they have the knowledge and sales experience to effectively communicate at a technical level with seasoned IT professionals and informed buyers.  The IT for Sales certificate gives sales professionals the credibility required to sell into the competitive IT marketplace.

The voucher is good for ONE of the following exams:
FC0-TS1 for CompTIA IT for Sales

Once you place your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from CompTIA. This e-mail includes your exam voucher number -- you need this number to register for your exam. It is important that you provide a valid e-mail address and that your system does not block messages from CompTIA.

Vouchers are only available for purchase and use at a Pearson VUE test center in North America. This exam retires on December 31, 2013, exams must be scheduled and taken by this date. All sales of exam vouchers are final, no exceptions.

Test Subject Matter Did Not Match Study Materials April 2, 2013

Today I took the CompTIA IT for Sales Certification exam.  I purchased the official study book that included practice exams. I read the entire book and took all of the practice tests.  I continued to study the book, reviewing key points and taking practice tests until I was easily getting 98% and higher on every practice test I took.  I was very surprised when I took the actual test.  The questions on the actual test were very different from those that I studied for.  Not only were they different, but the subject matter itself was different. I was very unprepared for this test and for a moment wondered if I was taking the wrong test.  I was fortunate enough to pass, but I did not do nearly as well as the study material led me to believe I would.  I recommend that anyone planning on taking this test understand that reading/studying the book and taking practice tests will not fully prepre you for taking the actual test.
